Rotary drum sand dryer machine working principle:

Sand is fed into the buffer hopper by input belt conveyer, then the sand flows into the sand dryer. Dryer cylinder is a rotating cylinder that has a certain inclination with horizontal line through the hopper feeder into the feeding pipe, thereby entering the feeding end. The feeding pipe inclination is greater than the nature. Sand from the high-end to join, high temperature air from the low-end entry, countercurrent contact with sand. With the rotating cylinder sand by gravity run to the lower end. 

Wet sand in the cylinder body to move forward, heated by high temperature air directly or indirectly, so that the wet sand to be dried, then at the discharge end through output belt conveyor goes out. 

In silica sand dryer inner wall of the cylinder is provided with a lifting boards. Its role is to make sand up and down, increasing the contact surface area of sand and hot air flow, so as to improve the drying efficiency. If need to further reduce the exhaust gas dust content, also should dust by Pulse Bag collector.
