Safe Sawdust Burning System for Wood Shavings Dryer Machine

For the wood shavings drying project, usually the customers have the wood waste such as sawdust, wood chips, etc.  If we can use the wood waste as fuel, compared with other types fuel such as coal, diesel, or natural gas, etc, it is rather economical.

For burning wood waste, it will occur sparks, and some of the sparks would goes into the dryer drum and contact the wood shavings. Because near the hot air furnace it is high temperature zone, thus the little sparks may cause fire, and surely it is dangerous.

Then how to avoid the fire risk ?

By heat exchanger, it is to use high temperature clean hot air to heat and dry the wood shavings, thus there is not risk of fire inside the dryer.

For the Sawdust Burner and Heat Exchanger, on its bottom there is Ash Collection Hopper. The ash collected is taken away by Ash Discharging Machine.

For the cleaning of Heat Exchanger’s Finned tubes, we can open the top cover of the heat exchanger, and use strong water to clean the inner side of the tubes.

When the exhaust air leaves the Induced fan, still there is some fine wood powder mixed in the exhaust air. It is suggested you prepare one big Gravity Dust Chamber (Room), and the fine wood powder will fall down onto the ground by gravity gradually, finally the exhaust air pass through the chimney on the top and goes into atmosphere
