Low Fuel Consumption Cost Chicken Manure Dryer

Usually the fresh chicken manure is with very high humidity, if directly to heat and dry wet poultry manure, the fuel consumption is rather high. As this demand, Sunco Machinery can design and supply low fuel consumption cost chicken manure dryer machine.

For the fresh chicken manure, its moisture content is up to about 75%, if the needed input capacity is 3 tons per hour, and the needed output moisture content of the dried manure is 20%, then every hour needs to evaporate and get rid of about 2 tons water, and can get about 1 tons dried manure.

In order to evaporate and get rid of 2 tons water from the wet poultry manure, the needed heat is about 1,200,000 Kcal. If use diesel as fuel, the diesel consumption is about 120 kgs per hour.

As you see, the related fuel cost will be higher, especially when the dried manure is low value product.  

Then, how to reduce and save the fuel consumption cost of the chicken manure drying machine ?

Solution 1: To find and prepare low price fuel such as coal, waste wood, biomass pellet, palm kernel shells, corn cob, wood chips, maize straw, etc.

Solution 2: Firstly use manure dewatering machine to reduce manure's moisture content to be about 60% from 75%, after that to use the chicken manure dryer to dry it and reduce its moisture content to be less than 20%.

To do it in this way, for input capacity 3 tons per hour, after being processed by manure dewatering machine, can get rid of about 1.1 tons water, and get about 1.9 tons wet manure with moisture content about 60%.

After being dried by the chicken manure dryer, then can get rid of 0.95 tons water, and get about 0.95 tons dried manure.    If use diesel as fuel, then every hour it will consume about 65 kgs diesel.

As see, after adding the manure dewatering machine, we can save about 50% of the diesel fuel consumption.
