The natural gas consumption is influenced by the moisture content of wood shavings and also the drying capacity.  

For example, if input capacity is 1,000 kg per hour, input moisture content is 40%, output moisture content is 15%, 

thus, every hour needs to evaporate and get rid of about 300 kgs water from the wet wood shavings, and it can produce about 700 kgs dried wood shavings.

Then, every hour needs to consume about 22 m3 natural gas per hour.

For different sizes of the wood shavings dryer, please kindly note that its drying capacity is very different, such as 1 ton per hour, 2 tons per hour, etc.

Where do we connect the heat source to the wood shavings dryer ?

There is natural gas burner which is used to burn the natural gas, and hot air furnace is used to supply the fuel burning chamber.  The natural gas burner is installed on the hot air furnace, and the hot air furnace is connected to the dryer machine.  

Under the action of induced fan which is after the wood shavings dryer, the high temperature hot air is sucked into the dryer to heat and dry the wet wood shavings quickly.
