Hot Airflow Wood Shavings Dryer also is well known as wood shavings dryer, wood chips drier, sawdust rotary dryer, etc. The key part is rotary cylinder with special welded inner lifting plates, when the round cylinder is rotating, these inner lifting plates shovels up and down the wet materials, thus the high temperature hot air can have enough contact area accordingly, then the wet material is heated and dried sufficiently, and finish the heat exchange between hot air and wet material: The water in the wet material is evaporated into vapor, then to be sucked out of the dryer by induced draft fan, and the moisture content of wet material drops to be about 15% or as need.

Then how to control the output moisture content of the dried wood shavings ?

When the heat input quantity and wet material feeding quantity is certain, then by increasing or reducing the drying time, to get higher or lower output moisture content wood shavings.  On the electric control cabinet, there is one speed controller meter which is used to control the dryer cylinder rotation speed.  

When the dryer rotation speed is higher, then the wood shavings needs less time to pass through the dryers, then have less drying time;  When the dryer rotation speed is lower, then the wood shavings needs longer time to pass through the dryer, then have longer drying time.

The users can adjust the drying time according to the situation of dried wood shavings easily.
