Working Principle of Rotary Slag Dryer for sale:

Slag dryer structure is composed of rotary drum, lifting plates, transmission device, support frame, sealing ring and other components. The rotary dryer drum is the main part of the dryer, which can also be called the drying cylinder. The part is a rotating cylinder slightly inclined to the horizontal line usually. 

During the drying process, the wet slag materials are added from the higher end, and the heat carrier enters from the lower end, making countercurrent contact with the wet slag materials. High temperature flue gas and slag materials flows into the cylinder together. With the rotation of the cylinder, the slag material moves to the lower end under the action of gravity. When the wet slag material moves forward in the cylinder, it is directly or indirectly heated by high temperature air, which evaporated the water out.

Under the action of Induced fan, the water vapor and exhaust air are sucked out of the dryer in time, and the dried slag come out of the slag driers and to be taken away by belt conveyor.
