Wood Shavings Dryer System workflow

Wood shavings dryer system includes heat source, belt conveyor, hopper, feeder,wood shavings dryer machine, belt comveyor, electric control cabinet, etc. In this article, Sunco Machinery will explain the workflow of wood shavings dryer system in detail for your reference.

The workflow of wood shavings dryer system is as follows:

1.Use belt conveyor to transport the wet wood shavings into hopper;

2. Then wet wood shavings goes into the feeder machine on top of the wood shavings dryer machine. 

The function of the feeder machine: 

A: To send the wet wood shavings into the rotary cylinder evenly;

B: To avoid the high temperature air go out of the wood shavings dryer through the feed inlet hole.

3. Through the feeder machine, the wet wood shavings goes into the wood shavings dryer.

4. Inside the wood shavings dryer, the wet wood shavings contact with the high temperature air sufficiently by the function of the lifting plates.

Function of lifting plates: To shovel the wet wood shavings up and down towards the discharging end of the wood shavings dryer. During this process, the wet wood swhavings is heated sufficiently by the high temperature air.  The moisture inside the wood shavings becomes water vapour, and goes out of the wood shavings dryer.

5. Heat source: Here we suggest the hot air furnace which use waste wood as fuel, as in the wood shaivngs project, usually the customers have many waste wood such as wood chips.

6. Induced draft fan suck out the water vapour, and finally the water vapour goes into atmosphere through the chimney.

7. Belt conveyor sends the dried wood shavings into trucks or storage room directly.

8. At the end of the wood shavings dryer system, usually there is one drum sieve to get rid of very small particles of wood shavings, and we can use this part small particles as fuel for the hot air furnace.

9. According to the customers' need, we can use bagging machine to load the dried wood shavings into bags as products.

10. Electric control box is used to control all the machines in the wood shavings drying system.
