Sawdust Drying Machine

In the market, sawdust drying machine usually is ideal for drying biomass material such as sawdust, wood shavings, etc. It is developed from rotary drum dryer which is known as "workhorse".

Except the Sawdust drying machine as the key equipment, for one set of sawdust drying line, it mainly consists of burner, hot air furnace, hopper, input belt conveyor, output belt conveyor, air duct, cyclone separator, induced draft fan, chimney, electric control cabinet, etc.

After the wet sawdust is put into the sawdust drier through inlet end, it is turned over through strring-up rake inside the cylinder and distributed uniform in the sawdust drier cylinder and contacted with countercurrent high temperature air sufficiently. 

It speeds up heat and mass conducting of dry. During the period of drying process, sawdust is effcted by stirring-up rake with gradient and hot air, it can be moved and passed through the drying region and to star valve and then discharge the finished product.

When the wet sawdust contact high temperature air, its temperature rises quikly, then the water inside is evaporated into vapor gradually.  Under the action of induced draft fan, the exhaust air and vapor is sucked out of the dryer drum in time.

Inside the cyclone dust separator, the fine powder is collected and to be discharged out through the rotary airlock valve. Finally the dry sawdust moisture content is reduced to be less than 15% or as need, and to be taken away by the output belt conveyor.

By adjusting the rotation speed of the sawdust drying machine, can increase or reduce the sawdust drying time in the dryer drum.  The higher the dryer rotation speed. the shorter the drying time, the higher the output moisture content; The lower the dryer rotation speed, the longer the drying time, the lower the output moisture content.
