Common problems with slag dryer machine

In the daily operation of Slag Dryer Machine, some common problems and the related solutions will be illustrated as below:

1. Why is the feeding port blocked in production ?

Reply: Because the slag has a certain humidity and the particle size is not uniform, especially some are lump type slag with bigger size. Under these conditions, it is easy to cause clogging and even the breakage of the lifting plate. 

Solution: Before the wet slag goes into the slag dryer machine, to use crusher to crush the wet slag into smaller size evenly, so that the wet slag can have good flow ability inside the slag dryer drum.

2. Why is a abnormal sound inside the slag dryer?

Reply: There are two reasons: first, the slag in the dryer is blocked; and second, the welding line is broken, and some lifting plates off and cause the abnormal noise.

Solution: When the material is blocked, we have to immediately shut down the machine for cleaning. To check and repair the welding line in time.

3. What should we do if the dried material cannot meet the humidity requirement?

Reply: The possible reason maybe without enough heat, too much feeding quantity, without enough drying time.

Solution: To increase the input heat; To Reduce the wet slag feeding quantity; To reduce the slag dryer rotation speed, so that the slag takes longer time to pass through the dryer cylinder.
