How to prevent fire issue of Wood Shavings Drying Machine ?

As the wood shavings is rather thin and with less moisture content, if the related design of wood shavings dryer is not good, for example, some sparks goes into the dryer machine to contact the wood shavings, meantime the wood shavings can not pass through the wood shavings dryer machine smoothly, then the temperature of wood shavings rises quickly, them may cause fire inside the wood shavings drying machine.

Recently Sunco Machinery prepared one unit of Input Capacity 2.5 Tons Per Hour Wood Shavings Drying Machine as follows:

The client prefer to use wood powder and small pieces of wood shavings as fuel. Sunco Machinery suggested the biomass burner working together hot air furnace for the wood shavings drying system.

In order to avoid the fire issues of the wood shavings dryer, Sunco Machinery specially make some design as follows:

1.For the biomass burner of the wood shavings dryer machine, considering for drying wood shavings, its inner space is 2-3 times bigger than the actual need. In other words, with much bigger inner space, the fuel can be burnt more sufficiently, thus nearly does not have flame leave the burner to go into the hot air furnace directly.

2. Mainly it is hot air which goes into the hot air furnace. 

2.1 Becasue the big size of hot air furnace, the hot air speed become slower, and it is helpful for the ash/dust collection.

2.2 The hot air furnace is designed to be triple pass for the hot air, it means that the total moving distance of hot air in the hot air furnace is up to about 9m. Longer hot air moving distance, with better ash/dust collection performance.

2.3 In the hot air furnace, there are certain quantity of stainless steel fireproof screen with small mesh holes, and it is used to block and collect the ash/dust, meantime allow the hot air pass through the fireproof screeen.

2.4 On the bottom of the hot air furnace, there is ash/dust settling chamber, and the ash/dust collected is stored inside it.

2.5 Between the hot air furnace and dryer, still there is about 1.3m distance.

When hot air goes into the wood shavings dryer, nearly there is no spark. What is more, large quantity of wet wood shavings goes into dryer and contact the hot air, much heat of hot air is absorbed by wet wood shavings, hot air temperaure drops down quickly, after heat exchanging process, finally the wood shavings pass through and come out of the wood shavings dryer drum continuously. 

According to the past actual experience, in normal work, it will not cause fire inside the wood shavings dryer machine.
