Small Scale Sand Dryer Machine

Small Scale Sand dryer machine, also known as river sand dryer, yellow sand dryers, silica sand dryer,etc, it is a kind of drying equipment to process large quantity of sand, with stable running, easy operationy, wide adaptability, high capacity, etc. Sand drying machine is suitable for drying granular materials,especially silica sand,river sand,quartz sand, frac sand, etc with excellent drying effect.

Small Scale Sand Dryer Machine usually is for capacity 3-10 tons per hour, and for small scale dry mortar production plant, etc.   

One unit of small scale sand drying line consists of mechanical feeding hopper, input belt conveyor, rotary silica sand dryers, output belt conveyor, cyclone separator, air duct, induced draft fan, vibrating screen, water scrubber, etc.

Working principle of small scale sand dryer machine is as follows:

Conveyed by belt conveyor or bucket elevator to the mechanical feeding hopper, the wet silica sand goes into the feeding inlet end of the dryer by a feeding device through a feeding pipe;

The obliquity of the feeding pipe should be greater than the sand flow, so that the wet quartz sand can slip into the dryer smoothly; 

The wet silica sand and hot air can enter into the dryer from the same feeding inlet end of the rotary sand dryer, which is called co-current air flow drying process;

or the wet silica sand can be fed into the small silica sand dryer from different ends of the rotary silica sand dryer, which is called count-current air flow drying process;

As the small sand dryer rotates, the sand inside moves forward from the feeding end (higher end) to the discharging end (lower end) of the silica sand dryer machine, and during this process, the wet sand is being dried by the hot air, and the water is evaporated into vapor, then the dried sand are discharged and conveyed away by output belt conveyor or screw conveyor to the product storage area.
