Silica Sand Drying Equipment

Silica Sand Drying Equipment mainly are rotary sand dryer.  Rotary Sand Drier can be used for drying all kinds of sand such as silica sand, yellow sand, river sand, frac sand, quartz sand, etc.  It is to use high temperature flue gas to heat and dry the wet sand continuously, and within a short time about 20 minutes, can get rid of the water and have the dried sand.

As the water of sand is surface/free water, when the heat is sufficient, then the silica sand dryer can have good work performance and drying capacity. In order to enhance the heat exchange efficiency and processing capacity, when the furnace can supply enough heat, then what we need to do is to increase the contact area between quartz sand and high temperature air as much as possible. 

The more the heat contact area between the wet sand and hot air, the better the heat exchanging efficiency. Then the silica sand drying equipment can have high drying capacity with less fuel consumption. As a result, you can have more economic benefits.

Rotary Sand Dryer was updated and developed from rotary drum dryer. In the market, usually there are single-pass  and  triple pass sand dryer. Compared with traditional simple single pass rotary sand dryer, new type triple-pass sand dryer achieves this aim perfectly. For one time drying process, the triple-pass sand dryer machine can dry the sand to be below moisture 1% directly, or even "Bone Dry" .
