Rotary Wood Chips Dryer mainly contains big rotary cylinder, air duct tube, chimney, hor air furnace, highpressure draught fan, electric control box, belt conveyor, etc.

Wet wood chips are fed at the feed inlet hole, and discharged at the dischaging hole. It is direct-type heated rotary dryer, hot gases move through the cylinder in direct contact with the wet wood chips, either with or against the direction of the wood chips' moving direction. The cylinder is equipped with lifting plates, and shower it up and down through the hot flue gas. 

During this process, the water inside the wet wood chips is evaporated into vapor, and comes out of the wood chips dryer under the action of induced draft fan, finally discharges into the atmosphere directly. 

When the wood chips leaves the dryer machine, its moisture content has been reduced to be less than 25% or as need.  By control the drying time, then can have lower or higher moisture content. If you want to have more dry wood chips, then can increase the drying time.  If you want to have more wet wood chips, then can reduce the drying time accordingly.

Then how to control the drying time of wood chips dryer machine ?

It is very simple to control the drying time by increase or reduce the dryer rotation speed. The higher the dryer drum rotation speed, then the wood chips needs less time to pass through the wood chips dryer, then the drying time is shorter accordingly. The lower the dryer drum rotation speed, then the wood chips needs more time to pass through the rotary wood chips dryer machine, then the drying time is longer accordingly.
