Working principle of rotary silica sand dryer:

The diesel burner or natural gas burner with hot air furnace generate the dry high temperature hot air up to about 400-500 centigrade, and the induced draft fan makes the dry hot air into the sand dryer drum.

The dry hot air not only heat the wet material, but also heat the dryer drum. Under the function of the special designed lifting plate and drum inner structure, the wet silica sand moves up and down to the discharging end of the dryer drum, during this process, the wet sand not only absorb the heat of the dryer drum, but also have strong heat exchange with the dry hot air.

During this process, the humidity inside the wet silica sand is heated and evaporated into water vapor, and under the function of the induced draft fan, the water vapor together with exhaust air goes into cyclone dust separator, after that, finally goes int atmosphere through the chimney.

The dried silica sand moves to the discharging end of the silica sand dryer drum, and goes out from the outlet of the dryer drum.
