Alfalfa is an annual or perennial herb and rare shrub. In the past, farmers used it to feed cattle, pigs, sheep and horses. It is a good forage and is called "the king of forage".

For our alfalfa drying system, it can be used to dry the humidity 75-80% fresh alfalfa directly, and after being dried, the humidity of the alfalfa can be 13-15%. The new features of our alfalfa drying system is high temperature, fast drying, environment friendly, energy saving. 

After being dried, the crude protein of the alfalfa can be up to 22%, and the alfalfa is still in green color. Our alfalfa drying system is designed to process and dry the alfalfa in large quantity. 

There are boiler (hot air furnace with wood pellets as fuel) for the alfalfa drying system. You also can choose to use diesel, natural gas, or coal as fuel for the rotary alfalfa dryer.

In Sunco Machinery alfalfa drying system, there are temperature test devices to show the drying temperature. We can control the drying temperature by adjust the fuel feeding and the air volume of the draft fan. At the certain drying temperature and drying time, then we can get the 13-15% humidity alfalfa.

Maxium capacity of th alfalfa dryer by Sunco Machinery can be 10 t/h (wet alfalfa). The smallest alfalfa dryer capacity is up to 500kg per hour.

Sunco Machinery engineers guide the users to install the machine, take trial run, the users should appoint some workers to finish the main job and prepare the materials and the installation tools needed. The actual expenses incurred for accommodation, to and fro travel for the engineer, insurance, and labor charge should be borne by the buyer.  

Provide technology support during daily running; If necessary and under request the seller can send engineers to remove disorders on machines; provide spare parts; others if necessary and reasonable.

Alfalfa dryer machine  will be processed to be rustproof and moisture proof before delivery. Small parts like motor, roller and belt of belt conveyor, foundation bolts will be loaded by case and large parts like body of drying machine will be packed by nylon canvas bags.
