For drying sand in large quantity quickly, usually is to use rotary sand dryer machine by high temperature flue gas to heat and dry the wet silica sand, then get rid of the water accordingly.
Rotary sand dryer is developed and produced according to the characteristics of wet sand. It adopts a three-layer drum structure, with high drying efficiency, small floor area and low energy consumption. Use high temperature hot wind to quickly reduce the sand humidity to the water content required by users.
The process flow of silica sand drying machine is as follows:
The quartz sand is transported to the hopper through the flat belt conveyor, and then enters the feeding end through the feeding pipe through the feeder of the hopper. The sand is added from the higher end, and the heat carrier enters from the lower end. It is in countercurrent contact with the sand. With the rotation of the drum, the material moves to the lower end by gravity. When the wet material moves forward in the cylinder, it directly or indirectly gets the heat from the heat carrier to dry the wet material and send it out through the belt conveyor or screw conveyor from the discharge end.
Rotary Sand dryer machine usually has three types; sigle pass sand rotary dryer, two pass sand rotary dryer, triple pass sand rotary dryer. Triple pass silica sand dryer with better work performance and higher drying capacity.
