How much water manure can chickens produce a year ?

The amount of defecation of chicken has a great relationship with the daily age of chicken. According to the egg (adult) chicken with a stable amount of defecation, the average daily food intake of a layer is 160~180 g, and the amount of defecation in a day is about 100 g (water manure).

In consideration of the losses in the process of breeding and collection, according to the survey data from the farmers, every 300 eggs (adult) chicken can produce 1 cubic meter of chicken manure per month, that is, if 10000 eggs (adult) can produce 400 tons of fresh manure per year. If it is a broiler, statistics show that the defecation volume of a broiler in 60 days is about 4000 grams. The content of fresh chicken dung is about 75%. Generally, after drying, the moisture content reaches below 30%, we call it dry chicken dung, so 400 tons of fresh dung is about 160 tons of dry chicken dung.

In other words, generally speaking, 10,000 layer birds can produce about 1,000 kgs wet chicken manure per day. For 100,000 birds scale layer farm, one day it can produce about 10 tons fresh chicken manure with moisture content about 75%.

As you see, the humidity of fresh chicken manure is very high up to 75%, if without to be processed and dried by the chicken manure dryer machine, the wet manure is a waste material, and can not be used for other applications.

>>> Outlet screw conveyor or belt conveyor takes the dried manure out of the dryer.

>>> To pack the dried manure into bags, or make the dried manure into pellets.
