Bamboo Chips Drying Machine

Input Capacity 2.5 t/h Bamboo Chips Drying Machine is designed based on the below information:

Raw Material: Bamboo Chips thickness 10mm, size no more than 40mm;

Initial Moisture Content (%): 55% ;  

Output Moisture Content (%): 5% ;  

Input Capacity of dryer : 2500 kg/hour;  

Heat Source: about 250 ℃ dry hot air , waste heat from existing boiler.

The features of bamboo chips is as follows:

▲ It is inner water, which needs enough heat time to get rid of the water.

▲ The bamboo chips is some thick, which also increase the drying difficulty.

▲ Needed output moisture content is 5% which is rather dry, which needs longer drying time.

For the design of bamboo chips dryer machine, the key points is as follows:

▲ Can supply enough drying time: Sunco suggest the time controlled multi chambers wood chips dryer. Before achieving the needed 5% moisture content, the bamboo chips is being dried  inside the dryer cylinder continuously.

▲ Can supply enough drying space and water evaporation space : The volume ratio between bamboo chips and dryer inner space is about 6 :1, thus the suggested dryer size is 1.9mx11.5m.

▲ Can supply high heat exchanging efficiency : The special designed dryer inner structure and lifting plates helps to make the bamboo chips moving up and down, and with enough heat contact area with hot air and hot dryer inner wall.

Work Flow of Bamboo Chips Drying Machine is as shown in below drawing:

▲ Firstly feed wet bamboo chips into the hopper.

▲ Input belt conveyor feeds the wet bamboo chips into the dryer machine through inlet feeder.

▲ Inside the bamboo chips dryer, the chips is dried for about 40 minutes, then achieve the needed 5% moisture content.

▲ Output belt conveyor takes the dried bamboo chips out of the dryer, and send it to the product storage area.

▲ Induced fan is used to sucked the high temperature air into the dryer machine, and after heat exchanging, suck out the waste air and vapor out in time.

▲ Cyclone dust separator is used for the collection of fine wood powder.

▲ Electric Control Cabinet is used to control the whole system of bamboo chips drying machine.
