Description about the 1.9x18m Sawdust Dryers

In this article we will descripe 1.9x18m sawdust dryers machine in detail. Sawdust dryer machine is key equipments for drying the sawdust and reduce the humidity of wet sawdust.

Question 1: Rotary dryer side:

- weight load of dryer tube.

- Design of inlet and outlet tmeperture at dryer tube.

- Maximum Evaporate rate.

Answer 1:

- Only the weight of the sawdust dryer tube is about 11 tons. The total weight of the sawdust dryer tube, big gear, ring, supporting frame, carrier roller, feed inlet cover and outlet cover is about 21 tons.

As it shows as below, later we use screws and flanges to connect the two pieces together when installation.

- The inlet temperature of the sawdust dryer tube is about 260-300 centigrade; the outlet temperature of the sawdust dryer tube is about 75-80 centigrade.

- The Maximum Evaporate rate: this sawdust dryer can evaporate 45000kg water maximumly into water vapour per hour. 

Question 2: Burner side:

- Heating wall material inside burner.

- Design burner working temperature.

- kw use for burner fan.

Answer 2: 

- For the hot air furnace (manual feeding coal), the heating wall material inside the burner is as follows:  standard firebrick, special shaped firebrick, fireclay, refractory cement, refractory sand, perlite powder, etc.

For the hot air furnace (mechanical feeding coal), the heating wall material inside are similar, but as the inner working temperature is much higher, and it needs to use the high-alumina firebrick . 

- The burner working temperature of the hot air furnace (manual feeding coal) is about 700-900 centigrade.

The burner working temperature of the hot air furnace (mechanical feeding coal) is about 1200-1400 centigrade.

- For the hot air furnace (manual feeding coal), it does not need burner fan additionally.

For the hot air furnace (mechanical feeding coal), it needs burner fan, and the motor power of the fan is 3kw.

In one word, the hot air furnace (mechanical feeding coal) is more complex,large, and higher heat efficiency than the hot air furnace (manual feeding coal), but it is much more expensive.

Question 3: Other:

- What is the discharge dried product method from sawdust dryer?, Do we need to collect some dried product from cyclone large particle rejection?

Answer 3: 

- The dried sawdust comes out of the sawdust dryer through the outlet. 

If you want to pack the dried sawdust into bag, then we can use one belt conveyor to sends the dried saw dust into the packing machine.

If you want to send the dried sawdust into truck or storeroom, then you also can use the belt conveyor to transport the dried sawdust into the truck or storeroom.

Most of the dried sawdust goes out through the outlet of the sawdust dryers, and still there are some fine powder together with the water vapour going into the cyclone. In the cyclone, the fine sawdust powder is separated from the water vapour. The fine sawdust powder falls down and goes out from the bottom of the cyclone, and the water vapour leaves the cyclone through the top pipe, and then goes into atmosphere.
